Gmail active le Push Exchange pour smartphone ( iPhone :D )

microsoft-exchange-hosting.jpg Une fonction attendue depuis longtemps par tous les utilisateurs Windows Mobile, iPhone et Nokia. Comme il s’agit d’une compatibilité Microsoft Exchange, pas mal de périphériques seront donc compatibles avec la réception quasi instantanée des messages, et cela doit aussi sûrement marcher avec les logiciels bureautiques de gestion de mails – contacts – calendrier dans le style Outlook. La configuration n’est pas trop compliquée, le server Exchange est m.google.com et le reste des informations à entrer est votre adresse Gmail et votre mot de passe, rien de bien compliqué. En revanche, si votre boite mail est bien remplie, il va falloir quelques minutes à l’iPhone pour bien s’adapter. Passé ce temps d’adaptation, le système réagi plutôt bien mais on notera quand même un léger décalage entre l’envoi et la notification de réception, du presque instantané à 1 minute près. Configuration iPhone et WinMo.
